Biography
Dr. Stecke’s research covers issues relating to manufacturing and improving manufacturing efficiencies and cost controls. Her background includes industrial engineering and applied mathematics and she is well-known in the field of flexible manufacturing systems. She is on the editorial boards of dozens of professional journals and speaks globally about issues related to operations management, supply chain management and FMS.

Before joining UT Dallas, Stecke taught for 21 years at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. She received her Ph.D. from Purdue University.
